Azidopropanol is a bifunctional synthone carrying azide and hydroxyl groups. It can be used for the click chemistry or Staudinger ligation involving its azide group.
Hydroxyl group can be functionalized in a non-aqueous environment by means of reaction with CDI and subsequent coupling with amines producing carbamates.
